DAY 01: 31st July 2011 – Arrival Nairobi
Upon arrival you will be met by our Sunworld representative and transferred to your town hotel, The Panafric Hotel for overnight. (on bed and breakfast basis)
DAY 02: 01st August 2011 – Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After a scrumptious breakfast at your Nairobi hotel, depart at 08.00 hrs for the world renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve, driving via the Maasai town of Narok. The Maasai Mara is the home of the proud Maasai people. Enjoy lunch at Keekerok Lodge and afterwards a leisurely game drive in search of the “Big Five”. You will arrive at Mara Bush Camp, tucked away in a river-rine forest, late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Mara Bush Camp. (Full board basis)
DAYS 03 – 06: 02nd to 06th August 2011 – Maasai Mara
You will spend the next four days in the Mara where you will have a good chance of seeing herds of buffalo and zebra as well as hippos and many other animals and birds. Go on a full day game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch out in the bush or return to camp for lunch should you so wish. A visit to a Maasai village is planned to offer you a glimpse of a very different way of life at an additional charge. At this time of year the Great Migration passes through the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. It is an amazing sight to behold when 1.5 million gnus are on the move across the plains. You may even be fortunate enough to see one of the dramatic river crossings. All meals and overnight in Mara Bush Camp. (Full board basis)
DAY 07: 07th August 2011 – Maasai Mara – Nairobi
After one last early morning game drive and a scrumptious breakfast, it is time to drive back to Nairobi. You will reach town at approximately 4 pm. We will then transfer you to the airport for your international or domestic flight should you wish to continue on to the coast for a beach holiday (At an additional cost)
